Days of our Lives Second Chances: Should Craig Give Leo Another Shot?

When Craig Westley found out his fiancé deliberately set out to trap him into marriage as a way of snatching his fortune — while he was also married to another guy — on Days of our Lives, Craig did the sensible thing and dumped Leo Stark at the altar.

But then Leo (Greg Rikaart) told him an oh, so sincere story about how, yeah, sure, it was a set-up in the beginning, but he totes fell in love with Craig (Kevin Spirtas) for realz and puppy dog eyes and aw, look how adorable I am. Craig didn’t fall for it. But should he have?

Oh, please, 88% of the audience dismisses, the con artist admitted to being a con artist and that’s supposed to erase all the con artisting he did? No way! Run, Craig. Turn around and run as far away from Leo as you can.

New York may not be far enough. How about Borneo? Leo probably can’t even find Borneo on a map, much less track you down there and attempt another twue wuv speech.

Sure, why not, a much smaller 10% of fans shrug. Just make Leo work for it a little. You can’t let him think you’re too easy. Though he kind of already knows it, from how easily he was able to fool you the first time. But it’s not like you can do any better.

Less than 2% point out that Craig is no angel, either. Besides breaking the heart of the woman he claimed to love, he also stole Kayla Brady Johnson’s (Mary Beth Evans) job, and, this time around, he did it in a nicer way than what he once tried to pull with Mike Horton. Basically, the two deserve each other. So leave them to it.
