It’s almost time for Fall, which means the annual Days of Our Lives reboot is just around the corner. Once again, new writing takes center stage while old faces are all the rage.

Read on for a sneak peek at Salem’s fabulous fall, according to the September 5 issue of Soap Opera Digest.

Some villains from the distant and recent past break out of prison and wreak havoc all over town. Get ready for Orpheus, Clyde, and Xander and all the trouble they cause.

A Trio of Villains
Orpheus’s (George Del Hoyo) thirst for revenge is as strong as it was decades ago. He still has it out for Roman (Josh Taylor), John (Drake Hogestyn), and Marlena (Deidre Hall), so when he shows his face, they can’t even believe their eyes. Meanwhile, Clyde (James Read) has it in for Chad, Kate, and Aiden. Things go from bad to worse for Chad when Clyde decides he wants to give Thomas to Ben…because, why not?

Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Theresa (Jen Lilley) decide it’s the right time for marriage, but Xander (Paul Telfer) has other ideas. Once he’s back in Salem he becomes an uninvited wedding guest. Theresa better watch out, as should Nicole.

Aiden With the Upper Hand
When Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) learns Hope’s (Kristian Alfonso) big Stefano secret, he knows he has the upper hand. Is anyone safe–especially Rafe–now that Aiden knows something he shouldn’t.

As or Sonny (Freddie Smith) and Paul (Christopher Sean), they try to fight that feeling, but it might not work out as planned…
