Days of our Lives Spoilers Wild Spec: Sami and Lucas Reunite

Sami and Lucas were never a match made in heaven on Days of our Lives. Despite having two kids together. Their first go ’round, Sami (Alison Sweeney) passed baby Will (Chandler Massey) off as Austin’s (Austin Peck) son, trying to keep Lucas’s (Bryan Dattilo) brother from marrying Sami’s sister.

The second time, she conceived one twin – Allie (Lindsay Arnold) with Lucas, and another twin, Johnny, with EJ (James Scott). Sure, EJ basically raped her, but since we decided he’s the true love of her life, we don’t talk about that anymore.

Sami and Lucas have been good co-parents, however. More or less. Some of the time. Right now, they’re both worried about Allie, who has given birth to a baby boy she’s resolved to give up for adoption – but there are a lot of different opinions as to whom she should give him up.

Both parents are offering their version of support. But what if all this fussing over Allie prompts Lucas and Sami to grow closer – again?

Once More Into the Breech

Lucas and Sami have never gotten a fair shot to be together. Someone was always in the way. That someone was usually EJ. (Or Sami’s phenomenal ability to get in her own way.) But, these days, EJ is a charred mummy wrapped in bandages.

Sure, Sami has been at his side along with their kids, Johnny and Sydney. But Sami has a tendency to get restless. EJ is all wrapped up and a continent away. Lucas is right here. And just as worried about Allie as Sami is.

Putting It Together

They’ll worry, they’ll talk, they’ll grow closer, they’ll remember the good old days… and they’ll remember why they fell in love in the first place. Is this a couple that deserves a second chance?
