Days of our Lives Recap: MarDevil Convinces CIN To Take Her On The Run

The Days of our Lives recap for Monday, November 29, 2021, features a possessed Marlena Evans Black throwing John Black under the proverbial bus, Philip Kiriakis continuing to bark up the wrong uprooted tree, and Brady Black facing a major setback.

If at first you don’t succeed, run to your friendly – and reformed – neighborhood serial killer, lie that your husband is abusing you, and beg him and his pregnant wife to go on the run with you because…reasons. We’re pretty sure this was the lesson to learn from MarDevil’s (Deidre Hall) most recent exploit; well, that and if you have the ability to transform into other people at will, use it to your advantage.

Opposite this, just about every member of the overly intertwined Horton/Black/Brady/Johnson clan learned that the Devil was residing in their favorite lady shrink…and they reacted about as well as could be expected.

They were however, shocked – SHOCKED – that Marlena was able to pull a disappearing act on Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer). Time to call in an all-points bulletin!

DAYS Recap: Sad Sack

Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson), still operating under the misapprehension that Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) has cheated on him, spent his turkey day sulking, grimacing, and struggling to keep his cool while Chloe waxed lyrical about how she’s so happy he’s changed.

He also had to work overtime to keep her from visiting the sapling that he ripped from the ground Incredible Hulk-style. That’s going to take some explaining. Kind of like how he should explain to her that he’s pretty sure she boffed Brady (Eric Martsolf) on the Basic Black conference table. However, he’s just going to continue to brood, and plot vengeance like a character straight out of a Marilyn Ross novel.

DOOL Recap: Wishful Drinking

And speaking of Brady…life has not been kind to him as of late, hence his giving serious consideration to falling off the wagon. Luckily, it’s Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) to the rescue.
