When someone dies in Salem, it’s probably a good idea to check and recheck and triple-check that they are actually most sincerely dead. And the body should never be left unattended.

It’s going to save a whole lotta time. Imagine all the wasted hours spent saying, “Oh my gosh, I can’t believe you’re alive after I saw you plunge into a vat of acid with my own eyes.” And it will save the SPD and the legal eagles a whole lotta face.

Nobody, especially a stickler for justice like Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) wants to learn, years after the fact, that she’s convicted a teen of murder and his victim is actually alive and well and lounging about in one of Steve Johnson’s (Stephen Nichols) spare shirts.

The one good thing to come out of Ava’s (Tamara Braun) resurrection is the fact that Joey (James Lastovic) is now free to return home. But given the hoops that Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Steve had to jump through to ensure his release, Ava had better steer clear of any room where a spare pillow is handy. Just in case.

Devil Woman

If at first, you don’t succeed, try and try again, seems to be the motto by which Gwen (Emily O’Brien) lives her life. Her first scheme to torpedo Abby’s (Marci Miller) relationship with her pops failed miserably, so now she’s out to destroy the Deveraux marriage by playing the estranged couple against one another.

It’s a brilliant ploy, but we still have no idea WHY Gwen is doing it. A little explanation goes a long way in stories like these so here’s hoping that we get one sooner rather than later.

DAYS Musings

And speaking of the Abby/Jack/Jennifer mess, why on Earth would Abby invite her father to live in the DiMera guest house knowing that Kate (Lauren Koslow) is living in the mansion? Does she actually think that the new lack of distance between the adulterous pair will ease her mother’s anxiety about a renewed attraction between the two?

Do you think that Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) is buying Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander’s (Paul Telfer) ruse? Or has he well and truly rumbled them?

How did Steve know the details of Sami’s (Alison Sweeney) shooting of Alan Harris, an event that transpired well after his supposed death in 1990? Even Kayla wasn’t in town at the time of the incident.

Are we to believe that at some point in time a Salemite set him down and revealed, in excruciating detail, every single event that happened between 1990 and his 2006 return? Days of Our Lives airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
