Paul is in for the fight of his life on Days of Our Lives, but Christopher Sean, has every reason to celebrate!
Sean was born on October 25, 1985, in Oak Harbor, Washington, to Sayuri and Patrick Friel, which means that today he is turning 33 years old!
He was a military brat, with his father in the Navy. When his dad was away from home, he would put himself on video reading books to his children and their mother would send recordings of her kids to her husband — just one of the reasons Sean has always been comfortable in front of the camera.
Growing up, Bruce Lee was an influence, since there weren’t many people for him to relate to in the entertainment industry.
The talented young actor speaks Japanese, which he learned when his father was assigned to the USS Tripoli and is trained in boxing, Taekwondo, wrestling, Jujutsu, and Mixed Martial Arts.
One of his first jobs was a waiter on The Bold and the Beautiful. He had recurring roles on The Lizzie Bennet Diaries and Hawaii Five-0, but it was in 2014 when he won the role of Paul on DAYS that’s endeared him to Salem fans everywhere.
Now he is poised for stardom thanks to his lead role as Kazuda Xiono in the animated series Star Wars Resistance.
In fact, Sean shared a birthday post for himself on Instagram, asking for the greatest gift anyone could give him — to watch his new show and to share the love for it on social media. You can see that post below.
Soap Hub wishes Christopher Sean the happiest of birthdays and you can too by clicking the link below.
Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
