The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Wednesday, May 30 features Kayla learning what Stefan wants more than anything: Kate’s head on a platter.
Indecent Proposal
Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) asked Stefan (Tyler Christopher) to help Steve with his company, Visionary Bionics. She let him know there was nothing she wouldn’t do for Steve.
Stefan agreed to help… if she helped him destroy Kate. The technology was hers if she spilled info he could use.
Meanwhile, Steve (Stephen Nichols) asked Kate (Lauren Koslow) for help but she told him she’s out at DiMera. She suggested he talk with Stefan but he refused to owe him anything.
Steve later told Kayla the same, so she backed off — though Stefan gave her his card. He then called Kate to put her on notice that he was coming for her.
Big Trouble at Stateville
Gabi (Camila Banus) survived Diane’s (Cassandra Creech) attack but Rafe (Galen Gering) arrived with the warden to find Diane dead and he assumed Gabi did it.
Gabi panicked and Rafe tried to help, but the warden said she wasn’t going home now. Gabi mouthed off at the warden and then panicked she was never going home again.
Will The Real Dr. Laura Stand Up
Abigail (Marci Miller) was happy to see Laura (Jaime Lyn Bauer), but not happy to learn she had to go to Boston for a few weeks.
Laura tried to explain integration to her, but Abby asked if it meant she was attracted to Stefan? There was no clear answer.
Chad updated Kate, who asked how he felt about Abby sleeping with Stefan. He felt it was complicated. Later, Abby told him she had to leave that night.
Is She Hearing Right?!
Hope (Kristian Alfonso) told Marlena (Deidre Hall) that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) could be up for release.
Marlena tried to explain that if Abigail could be treated, so could Ben — both suffer from mental illness. Hope insisted he was snowing the shrink, so Marlena said she would try to evaluate him.
