Days of Our Lives (DOOL) Recap: Sami’s Emotional Farewell To Her Family

The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Wednesday, December 13 features Sami bidding farewell to those she loves as she prepares to leave Salem.

Moving On
Sami (Alison Sweeney) gave Will his Christmas gift–his old journal, which he was grateful for. She said there was plenty of room still to write his story moving forward but he might also enjoy reading the old entries. He spotted her ring and realized it was different (not Hope’s). Sami covered that she has lots of jewelry.

Sami thanked Marlena for her help with Will. John then arrived and Sami tearfully thanked him for all he did for her. Next came her emotional goodbye to Will, who was sad to see her go. Will pulled her into a hug and Sami cried.

Kate (Lauren Koslow) visited Lucas (Bryan Dattilo), who was going through hell at rehab. Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) also arrived to help encourage him. Sami arrived later to say goodbye and told Lucas he will be okay. He said it’s thanks to her. She told him about her reconciliation with Will, which pleased Lucas.

Shocking Development
Sonny (Freddie Smith) pushed Brady’s (Eric Martsolf) buttons, prompting Brady to spill the beans about Will coming on to Paul.

When Paul arrived, a shocked Sonny asked if he kissed Will.

No, Will kissed him. Sonny refused to believe it and was mean to Paul and walked out. Paul got ticked at Brady for throwing him under the bus, but he still gave him the dirt on Eve.

Sonny headed over to see Will, just as Will found their separation agreement. Sonny told Will he wants his husband back.

Hot Property
Eve (Kassie DePaiva) saw Gabi (Camila Banus) and asked for an update on Eduardo. She made an offer for Gabi to come to Basic Black, and Gabi let her know about Kate’s offer.

Eve thought working with Chad might be awkward, and Gabi disagreed and said it would be worse to work with the wife of a man who tried to kill her twice. Eve told her to think about it. Later Gabi ran into Kate, and told her she needs more time because of Eve’s offer.

Basking in the Afterglow
Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Rafe (Galen Gering) enjoyed their morning after and Hope foolishly declared she doesn’t think anything can come between them now. She also lamented the closeness she used to have with Ciara. While out with Rafe, they saw Bo’s motorcycle and Hope realized Ciara didn’t listen to her after all.
