Halloween is always an exciting time on Days of our Lives, but when MarDevil is in town, the stakes rise – and so do the dead. The good (and not so good) citizens of Salem saw figures they thought were dead and buried – literally. But which was your favorite zombie return?

Days of our Lives Polling: Nick Or Treat

Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) has already killed and buried Nick Fallon twice – and served time for doing so. She had every reason not to expect to see him again. And yet she did. And 40% of you loved the development.

Nick went after Gabi’s current love, escaped convict Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash), and tried to make Jake join him in the great beyond. But Gabi has been to this rodeo before and took care of Nick yet again. As an added bonus, his disappearing made it so she didn’t even have to bury him this time! Win-win!

Ghost of Exes Past

Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) also thought she’d killed Deimos Kiriakis (Vincent Irizarry). Deimos didn’t like that. However, 32% of the audience did like Deimos’s return to terrorize his killer, even if it was over too quickly, thanks to Nicole’s scissor trick. Deimos also faded away upon his second death…leaving the door open for yet another Days of our Lives resurrection.

The Bad Brother

A close enough 28% of fans enjoyed Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) returning for his son – and trying to take out Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) while he was at it. This could be the beginning of a spinoff, “Zombie and Son.” They could have wacky, undead adventures.

Alas, it was not to be, as Allie went Cartoon Network and bopped Charlie over the head with a frying pan. He twinkled away like a Buffy the Vampire Slayer victim, too. And we can’t wait to hear how all the characters explain what happened…to themselves. Also, Allie loves Tripp now.
