Days of our Lives Sami and EJ
Samantha Brady is back on Days of our Lives. She just got EJ DiMera to sign divorce papers and accepted Lucas Horton’s proposal of marriage. Of course, there’s the minor detail that Sami is convinced EJ is the one who had her kidnapped — when it was actually Lucas.
But, other than that, things are looking pretty good for our Sami (Alison Sweeney). Her oldest son, Will Horton (Chandler Massey), is happily married and raising his daughter in Arizona. Twins Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) are no longer possessed by the Devil.
They’re both fighting for Chanel Dupree’s (Raven Bowens) heart. But, compared to being possessed by the Devil, that’s pretty low-key and chill. Which is why now is the ideal time to bring back Sami’s youngest offspring: Sydney DiMera.
Johnny doesn’t care whether his parents are together, and Allie is likely thrilled that her Mommy and Daddy are getting married yet again. Sydney can be the perfect voice of vitriol as she arrives all snotty and spoiled from Europe, acting like a brat to Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) and kissing up to her beloved father while being the kind of pain to Sami that Sami was to her own mother.
And you know what would really cause Sami pain? If Sydney began hanging around with Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker), the woman Sami hates…for stealing a newborn Sydney and raising her as her own for months, while Sami mourned the daughter she thought died.
Sami has a perfectly good reason for despising Nicole. Which means that Syndey has an even better reason to flaunt her new friend in her mother’s face, talking about the connection she feels to Nicole. She really can’t explain why.
Salem has tiny children, and it has young adults. But it doesn’t have a teen scene. Building it around Sydney could open the door for dozens of new stories!
