They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but we wonder what good is a picture when you can’t recognize the subject? Above is a snapshot of a future star of soaps but can you guess who this young Minnie Mouse enthusiast grew up to be?
Obviously this little lady (now all grown up) is currently starring in one of the four remaining daytime dramas – The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, and The Young and the Restless – but that’s probably not much of a hint.
So try these on for size. She is a Christmas Eve baby who knew from a very early age that she wanted to become an actress. Her earliest professional credits were commercials and short films and she was once directed by Clint Eastwood. She is also an advocate for environmental conservation and animal welfare.
But just who can she be? Is this a photograph of Annika Noelle (Hope Forrester, BB), Olivia Rose Keegan (Claire Brady, DAYS), Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones, GH), or Melissa Ordway (Abby Newman, YR)
Keegan was 7 years old when she began participating in musical theater. Soon after, she decided that an actor’s life was for her. At age 12, she and her parents moved to Los Angeles and within a month, Keegan had booked roles in two films: Picture. Perfect. (a short) and Hand of God (a feature).
She also booked commercials for businesses like TJ Maxx. But even with such an impressive background, Keegan isn’t today’s featured star.
Sure, Storms impressed a talent scout with her acting prowess when she was a mere 5-year-old. And yes, one of her first professional credits was a commercial for Galoob Baby Doll.
But the first two films that she starred in (Crayola Kids Adventures: The Trojan Horse and Zenon Girl of the 21st Century) were released direct-to-video and on television respectively. And she’s never worked with Mr. Eastwood. So she isn’t the answer to today’s identity query.
Nor is Ordway. This in spite of her also being bitten by the acting bug at a very early age. However, her first acting credits were guest roles on the dramedy Entourage and the sitcom How I Met Your Mother — and she has yet to work for the former Dirty Harry actor.
Noelle was born on December 24, 1986, hence the festive middle name, which she uses as her last when acting. Noelle fell in love with performing back when she was still a preschooler and she honed her craft at both the Geffen Playhouse and the Kennedy Center.
Her first paying jobs were commercials for GEICO, Dairy Queen, and Infiniti and her earliest film work was a series of short films (including Acts of God, The Perfect Gentleman, and It’s Me). In 2014, she had a small role in the Clint Eastwood effort Jersey Boys.
When she is not busy reacting to all the perils that her poor put-upon daytime counterpart is subjected to, Noelle volunteers at her local shelters and with the Wildlife Friends Foundation of Thailand – an initiative to rescue and rehabilitate elephants and other wildlife.
So, if you guessed that the future star of soaps seen in the image above was Annika Noelle – who has played Hope Logan on BB since January 8, 2018 – then you were absolutely correct!
