The Bold and the Beautiful recaps for August 23 – August 27, 2021, feature a particular mother’s worst nightmare coming to fruition, a back on track marriage angering outsiders, and more.
The Bold and the Beautiful Recaps: Monday, August 23
Though both couples eventually achieved mutual satisfaction, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Logan Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) romantic evenings were marred with talk about Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).
Steffy made mention that she and Finn have yet to file their marriage license; she later worries about a business trip that she and Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) must embark upon the following day.
Sheila threatened to reveal that Jack Finnegan (Ted King) is Finn’s biological father – and that Finn was the result of an extramarital dalliance on Jack’s part – unless her former lover arranges for her to say a final, in-person goodbye to Finn, and to be able to hold baby Hayes.
Bold and Beautiful Recaps: Tuesday, August 24
Eric Forrester (John McCook) apologized to Quinn Fulton Forrester (Rena Sofer) for failing to join in her marital bed. During a subsequent heart-to-heart, Eric confessed that he’s suffering from erectile dysfunction.
Jack struggled to keep his involvement with Sheila – in the past AND present – from Li (Naomi Matsuda)…Finn convinced Steffy to honor her work commitment by promising that he understands the need to keep Sheila at arm’s length…Jack visited Finn and reiterated Sheila’s stipulations for her vacating L.A.

B&B Recaps: Wednesday, August 25
Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) informed Brooke and Ridge that Eric has put a halt to his and Quinn’s divorce; Carter encouraged the incensed pair to give the reunion their blessing and claimed that he was happy for Eric and Quinn…Quinn gave Eric her vehement assurance that his condition will not affect their marriage moving forward.
Jack encouraged Finn to meet Sheila’s demands; Finn is adamant that he will not do so; Jack arranges for Sheila to come to the cliff house regardless…Steffy confided her Sheila-related fears to Hope…Steffy and Hope’s plan remained grounded due to inclement weather in San Francisco; Steffy gave serious consideration to returning home.
B&B: Thursday, August 26
Brooke and Ridge castigated Eric for forgiving Quinn; Brooke also takes great umbrage at Quinn’s portrait being rehung over the fireplace. Eric strongly suggested that his uninvited guests take their leave.
Sheila swore to Finn that if it allows her to hold Hayes, she’ll never darken his door again, nor will she ever make contact with a Forrester family member. Against his better judgment, Finn places Hayes in his mother’s arms. Seconds later, Steffy enters the house!
The Bold and Beautiful Recaps: Friday, August 27
Steffy railed at Finn and Jack for allowing Sheila into her home, and to hold Hayes. She spirits the baby away, then returns to deliver further condemnation – and a backhanded slap to Sheila’s face…Hope surprised Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) by returning home early. The reunited couple makes love.
