Some of your favorite soap stars are celebrating birthdays in May. Soap Hub has compiled a list of all their birthday dates, so you can send your favorite actors and actresses your best wishes via Twitter and Instagram. Or you could go the old-school route and mail them an actual card.
Soap Stars Celebrate In May
If you are a Taurus (beginning on April 21 – May 20), here are some of your traits. Taurus is the second sign of the zodiac and an earth sign, ruled by the planet Venus, the planet of love. Of course, this is contradicted by the fact its symbol is a bull. But Taureans are ruled by their desires, love of food, wealth, creature comforts, nature, and sex. Other positive traits include Perseverance, resilience, patience, sensuality, and hard-working.
Though they can have a fiery temper when crossed, they are mostly considered chilled and laid back. It takes a lot to cross that line but when you do, watch out! They are known to want the very best but can be a little stingy when spending money on others. They can pinch pennies in creative ways when it comes to increasing their bank accounts. Other negative traits include overindulgence, laziness, jealousy, and stubbornness.
The month starts off with a trifecta of soap star birthdays on May 7. Michael Knight (Martin, General Hospital) turns 63; Peter Reckell (ex-Bo, Days of our Lives) turns 67; and Robin Strasser (ex-Vivian Alamain, DAYS; ex-Dorian, One Life to Live) turns 77.
On May 8, two handsome men will be celebrating — Marc Anthony Samuel (Felix, GH) is a year older while DAYS’ Zach Tinker (Sonny Kiriakis) turns 27.
Next up, The Bold and the Beautiful’s Alley Mills (Pam) celebrates #71 on May 9. And over at The Young and the Restless, Victoria Rowell, remembered as Drucilla, turns 63 on May 10.
May 11 sees former GH sensation Jonathan Jackson (Lucky) turning 39 while his former leading lady, Rebecca Herbst (Elizabeth) turns 45 the next day on May 12. Sharing her special day are three other beloved leading ladies — Y&R’s Beth Maitland (Traci) turns 64, former DAYS and Another World leading lady Linda Dano (ex-Vivian Alamain and Felicia Gallant, respectively) turns 79 while DAYS co-star Vanessa Williams (Valerie Grant) turns 59.
It looks like May 16 will have Scott Reeves (ex-Steven Lars Webber, GH; ex-Ryan McNeil, Y&R) blowing out 56 candles on his birthday cake this year. The next day on May 17, GH bad boy Shiloh — AKA Coby Ryan McLaughlin — is turning another year older.

Going the cake and candles route next is a GH legend. Constance Towers, who portrayed the diabolical Helena Cassadine, toasts birthday #89 on May 20, while that same day the show’s youngest star, Jophielle Love, blows out eight candles on her cake.
If you are a Gemini (beginning on May 21 – June 21), here are some of your traits. Gemini is the third sign of the zodiac and an air sign, ruled by Mercury, the planet of communication. It’s party time for B&B’s Darin Brooks (Wyatt), too. The actor turns 38 on May 27. The next day, May 28, DAYS’ Emily O’Brien (Gwen) turns 37.
The birthday revelry wraps up with a joint celebration for three soap stars and daytime favorites. Former GH star Kristen Alderson (ex-Kiki; ex-Starr, OLTL) turns 30 on May 29, while DAYS’ Billy Flynn (Chad) turns 37 and Y&R’s Tracey Bregman (Lauren) turns 59 on the same day.
May 2022 Overview:
