The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Eric Questions Steffy’s Motives

Breaking The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Wednesday, August 31 tease tough choices for one woman. Grab a snack and get ready for some action!

Misplaced Anger
Eric (John McCook) continues to question Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) about her decision to leave Wyatt (Darin Brooks). He just can’t understand how his being with Quinn (Rena Sofer) would make her leave her own husband (now stop making sense there, Eric) if she truly loved him. He can’t help but think that it has more to do with her needing an excuse to be with the man she truly loves – his brother Liam (Scott Clifton). She keeps claiming that Quinn has ruined her life, but isn’t she the one letting her do that now? Steffy has other ideas.

She feels she’s trying to protect Eric from the viper she knows Quinn to be. She can’t understand how her grandfather could pick a woman who has hurt her so much. Was it really asking so much? Of all the women in the world, couldn’t he just find someone who didn’t ruin her life? But again – how is her life ruined if she’s married to the man she says she loves? Which is it?

A Change of Pace
Despite all the horrible things she’s done in her life, Quinn wants people to know she is capable of change. She feels she deserves Eric because he makes her behave in a better way – he makes her a better person. She’s tired of everyone thinking the worst of her, including her own son. After all, why do they think she is the only person in the world not capable of changing? Eric makes her want to be a good person.

In an effort to prove that she means what she says, Quinn decides to do a good deed. Considering she’s not very good at…well…being good, could this blow up in her face?
