Dr. Li Finnegan took an oath to help her patients. However, The Bold and the Beautiful doctor caused those around her to feel much grief by not revealing that her son Dr. John ‘Finn’ Finnegan, survived his ‘fatal’ gunshot wounds. Even though the story had a happy ending, there were a lot of tears shed until the truth came out.
The Bold and the Beautiful Ends Justify the Means
What Li (Naomi Matsuda) did was probably illegal and certainly immoral as her daughter-in-law Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) grieved for months over her husband’s ‘death.’ No one could blame Steffy and Finn (Tanner Novlan) and their families if they never forgave Li. Soap Hub asked B&B fans if they think Li will be given another chance.
All is Forgiven
The majority of you, 71%, say that yes, the Forresters and the Logans (who were indirectly affected by Li’s lies) will forgive the good doctor. Who can blame her for committing subterfuge after her son was shot?
If Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) wasn’t so obsessed with the Forresters, she might never have gotten close enough to Finn and Steffy in the first place. The real question is will Li forgive Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) for giving Sheila, a proven and dangerous criminal, a second chance, allowing her to get close to her son?

The Bold and the Beautiful Temper, Temper
Many of you, 26%, say that yes, Li will be forgiven, but that’s not going to happen overnight. Everyone’s been hurt in this. Finn and Steffy have both emotional and physical scars that may never heal. If the Logans can forgive Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) and give her a pass for lying about baby Beth being alive, then hopefully, everyone can forgive Li, too.
Holding a Grudge
Some of you, 3% or so, feel that no, the Forresters and Logans will not forgive Li. She could have enlisted those around her as allies in her quest to bring Finn back to health. If folks had known that Finn was alive, Sheila might never have gotten close enough to her son in order to hold him hostage, and Li might never have been in that near-fatal accident.
