Over the years, we’ve seen some antagonists on The Bold and the Beautiful become pals. However, conflict is the essence of daytime drama. Characters need to be at odds with one another.

We’ve seen a lot of former enemies kiss and make up on B&B, like Sally Spectra (Darlene Conley) and the late Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery). Soap Hub asked B&B fans which couple they’d like to see go back to being at one another’s throats. Find out the results!
Hope for Steffy’s Future
Some of you 25% want Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Hope (Annika Noelle) to go back to being in conflict. Remember the days when both women fought over Liam (Scott Clifton)? Thank goodness Finn (Tanner Novlan) came along to put a stop to all that.
But now, it appears another man might cause them to go back to being rivals. We’re talking about Hope’s feelings for Thomas (Matthew Atkinson), Steffy’s brother. Steffy senses that Hope cares about her brother. These two being back to battling each other appears to already be happening.
The Bold and the Beautiful: Ridge V Bill
Bill (Don Diamont) and Ridge may have made nice to take down Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown); she’s in custody now. A little over a third of you, 34% to be exact, want the media mogul and the dressmaker, as Bill calls Ridge, to go back to sparring.

It’s only a matter of time before Bill shows interest in a woman close to Ridge, whether it’s Taylor (Krista Allen), Brooke, or Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Ridge thinks Bill is no good except for when they teamed up to rid the family of the naughty nanny.
Braylor Can’t Last
The majority of you, 41%, say that Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Taylor’s friendship can’t last. It was a great twist with both of them turning down Ridge, considering that “Who would Ridge choose?” was the most asked question on B&B in the 1990s and into the early part of the next decade.
It’s one thing for Brooke and Taylor to take a break from Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), but the two of them being BFFs? We can’t see that lasting. Something’s going to happen to put the two women at odds with one another. If we had to guess, we’d say it’s going to be the conflict between Brooke’s daughter Hope and Taylor’s son Thomas.
