Traditionally, soap characters put aside conflicts for the holiday so that viewers can not only enjoy their holidays but also take comfort in the fact that their favorite TV characters are happy too. But who on The Bold and the Beautiful has so much angst going on that they’re not going to be joyous this Christmas?

Soap Hub asked fans to weigh in on who they think will have the worst holiday season and won’t be singing any Christmas carols this year.
Ridge Forrester — The Single Man
Some of you, about 14%, say that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) is going to have the saddest holiday. He’s currently single and won’t have anyone to smooch with under the mistletoe. Or will he? Can even Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) resist giving Ridge a holiday smooch?
Bold and the Beautiful: Bill, Bah Humbug!
Many of you, about 24%, feel that Bill Spencer is poised to have the bluest Christmas. He has struck out with both Brooke and Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and has gone back to wearing his sword necklace. He’s wallowing in his own pain, and not even a warm fireplace is going to melt his cold, dark heart. Poor Bill.

Doubting Thomas
A lot of you, about 29%, feel that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is set to have the unhappiest holiday. How could it be happy? He’s alienated his sister Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), his son Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri)…oh, just read the cast list. Thomas has no friends on the canvas these days. If anyone needs to be visited by three spirits, it’s Thomas!
Scrooge Sheila Carter
Sheila Carter, of course, ranks No. 1 with 33% of your vote that she’ll have the worst holiday season. Last year, Taylor extended grace to Sheila and let her visit her grandson Hayes. Since that time, Sheila shot both her own son Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), and her daughter-in-law, Steffy. And, of course, it’s never Sheila’s fault. She didn’t mean to hurt anyone. The gun went off. Blah, blah, blah. Sheila has no one to blame but herself for the sad, sad Christmas she’s going to have.
