Ridge is determined to remove Eric’s new wife, Quinn, from his father’s life and their company, Forrester Creations.
The once close father/son relationship between Eric and Ridge took a nosedive, when Quinn (Rena Sofer) entered the picture. Not only does Ridge loathe the woman, but he also fears the influence she could have over his dear old dad and Forrester Creations. As a result, Ridge has done a slew of underhanded things to try to undermine Quinn, causing severe strife between him and Eric.
Disown Him
Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) being so hateful toward and disloyal to his father’s wife is something Eric can’t tolerate. That’s why 49% of you believe Eric should disown him. It’s the only way to keep Ridge out of Eric and Quinn’s lives and stop him from attacking Quinn. Eric has to think of his wife, first.
Forgive and Forget
No matter what’s gone down between Eric (John McCook) and Ridge, they still love each other and share a special bond. So 20% of you want to see Eric forgive Ridge. You feel it’s not too late for them to make amends and would like to see them reconcile their differences and move forward.

Destroy Him
The best payback is revenge, says 17% of you, who think Eric should set out to destroy Ridge’s whole life. After everything Ridge has done – including tossing Quinn out of the house and finagling Eric’s POA – you feel he deserves it. He needs to be taught a cold hard lesson.
In a Quandary
Granted, Ridge has behaved very badly as far as Quinn is concerned; albeit not without good reason. Her track record is pretty horrendous. As a result, 14% of you aren’t sure how Eric should handle the situation. While he has reason to be very angry and retaliate, Ridge is also his son and he loves him. It’s hard to make a call as to what Eric should do.
