Thanks to Quinn Fuller and Steffy Finnegan Forrester, the last two marriage ceremonies on Bold and the Beautiful haven’t gone through. Lovebirds Eric Forrester and Donna Logan are in a position to change all that should they opt to get remarried. But should they?
Should Eric (John McCook), the Forrester family patriarch, propose to his ex-wife and current squeeze Donna (Jennifer Gareis)? Soap Hub posed this question to B&B fans. Find out the results to see if wedding bells are in the air or not.
About 15% of you predict Eric and Donna will get engaged but that there will be a twist — you think that Donna will be the one to propose to Eric! And why not? It’s 2023 or rather, it soon will be. Donna deeply loves Eric and she may sense that he’s hesitant to make their union legal. What better way to get him to the altar than to simply invite him? Heck, even Pam Douglas (Alley Mills) has come around on Donna!
Let’s face it — Eric hasn’t had the best luck in marriages. He stayed wed to Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) the first time for way too long. The second episode of the long-running episode established that it was over for these two.
Granted, they’d still be hitched now if Steph hadn’t died a decade ago. However, Eric’s other unions to Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown), and Donna haven’t exactly been successful. About 35% of you think that Eric may think it wise to stay a single man.
The rest of you, 50%, want Eric and Donna to get married. She brings joy, youth, and passion to his life. He brings romance, security, and passion to hers. While we’re up for a new locale in terms of weddings, it’d only make sense for these two to tie the knot at the Forrester mansion, the setting for many a B&B wedding. Oh, and this time, there’s no need to swap out the portrait over the fireplace with Stephanie’s…Eric’s can stay right where it is!
