Is Thomas Too Diabolical On The Bold And The Beautiful?

Matthew Atkinson has hit the ground running as Thomas on The Bold And The Beautiful. The former Austin on The Young And The Restless was thrown into the deep end of a heavy storyline upon joining the half-hour soap and is a great fit with the show!

However, Thomas is downright Machiavellian in his pursuit of Hope (Annika Noelle) using his own motherless son, Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri), as a pawn to seduce her.

Thomas has deleted an important photo that Liam (Scott Clifton) sent Hope, and Thomas has also kept secret from Hope — a woman he professes to care about — from knowing her baby girl is alive!

Has he gone over the top? Soap Hub asked BB fans to weigh in on this. Read on for the results.

Doubting Thomas
An overwhelming majority of you, a little over 97% (!), agree that Thomas is going too far. If he truly does care for Hope, then he’d tell her Beth is alive! Even if he gets what he wants and convinces Hope to marry him what kind of real relationship will they have?

One based on deceit and fraud! The best bet Thomas has to turn himself around and be the man Hope wants to be with is to tell her the truth about Beth!

And The Rest
The rest of you, under 3%, say that no, Thomas hasn’t gone too far. You probably see his actions in character.

After all, Thomas’ dad, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), has many times interrupted either engagements, romances or weddings of Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) because he knew that it was the best thing for her. Is Thomas doing anything different?

Hope For The Future
When the truth comes out about baby Beth being alive, Thomas will have to fight even harder to make Hope his future bride.

It’s surely going to make Liam rethink a future with Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and give hope to Liam/Hope fans everywhere! Stay tuned to find out!
