On The Bold and the Beautiful, Thomas Forrester finally seems to have his life together after a rough few years and he worked hard to make that happen in the hopes of being a full-time father to his young son, Douglas Forrester. However, part of Thomas’ problem was the emotionally abusive way he treated Douglas when he was going through mental health issues caused by a brain injury.

Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) didn’t seem to think it was a problem when he came to Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle), who has been raising Douglas (Django Ferri) since Thomas’ troubles began, and told her he wanted Douglas to live with him or at the very least be with him a lot more than he has been. Hope, however, does have a problem with this. Does she have a valid reason to feel this way? Is Thomas ready to be a full-time father?
B&B: Thomas Has The Support He Needs
A full 47% of you think it’s high time Thomas started fathering his son on a regular basis. Yes, he most certainly had a problem and yes, he was not able to take care of Douglas when Hope took him in and became his legal mother, but Thomas has done the work and has the Forrester clan behind him to help out. Douglas clearly loves him and loves being with him, so Thomas should finally get his chance to prove himself.

The Bold and the Beautiful: Let Hope Have Her Son…Sometimes
Another 38% of you think Thomas is not ready to do this on his own, but even if he is, he should not have this child full-time. Douglas thinks of Hope as his mother and Beth as his sister and loves living with them. There is no reason Thomas should take him away from that, so you think he and Hope should try sharing custody with Douglas spending half his time with Thomas and half his time with Hope.
Let Him At Least Try
The final 15% of you aren’t sure if Thomas is ready to take on parenthood on a full-time basis, but you think he should at least be given the shot. Thomas’ new home is with Eric Forrester (John McCook), so he will have others around him to help, and Hope will still be there as a part of Douglas’ life and can take him back on a regular basis if Thomas still has more work to do on himself.
