Handsome Don Diamont always wanted to be a father, but was surprised when his life goal led him to lead a brood of seven boys!
While making women swoon for 12 years on Young & Restless in the iconic role of Brad Carlton, Diamont welcomed four sons with ex-wife Rachel Braun.
Following his long-term role on Y&R, the actor moved on to the even juicier role of Bill on Bold & Beautiful in 2009.
During that time, the actor saw his family grow larger with the addition of twins with then-partner Cindy Ambuehl (ex-Kim, B&B). The couple tied the knot after many years together back in 2012 at the Chateau de la Chevre d’ in Eze, France.
Diamont also raised his sister Bette’s son Drew Mazur after her passing.
Son Alexander Diamont has become a sports celebrity of sorts, as a quarterback for Indiana University.
But as far as the boys knew, their father was just a regular guy who went to work and provided for their family as they grew up in Santa Monica, California.
“I’m just another dad,” said Diamont to the Indy Star.

“My wife and I, we’re homebodies,” the actor stated. “Working in daytime has allowed me to have a very normal, more or less 9-to-5 kind of a life.”
The actor believes that although he has achieved great success in his chosen profession, it means nothing without the support and love of his family.
‘What brings me my greatest joy is my family,’ Diamont has stated.
According to a report by Soap Opera Digest, Diamont is also working on a new book about fatherhood which is yet untitled.
The actor relayed in an interview with Michael Fairman Soaps that fatherhood has been a blessing in his life.
“Being a dad is something I always wanted to be. When I was a kid, I had valued my relationship with my dad, and I lost that pretty young. I wanted that and I thought it was very important,” Diamont explained.
