The New Year is almost upon us, and pretty soon, we’ll be seeing the Forresters, Logans, Spencers, Sheila Carter, and their friends enter the year 2023. There’s a lot that’s going to happen to them as B&B celebrates its 36th year on the air!
Bold and the Beautiful — Happy New Year!
The year 2022 on The Bold and the Beautiful saw the return of Dr. John ‘Finn’ Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and the long-running triangle of Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) take on a new (and welcome) twist. Here are some things we’d like to see happen in 2023 on B&B.
Bold and the Beautiful – The Best & Boldest Is Yet to Come
A Wedding That Happens: B&B had interrupted weddings in 2022 — Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) and also, Ridge and Taylor’s ceremony was halted by a secret coming out. Soap fans love weddings and couples being happy (well, for a little while), so it’d be nice to see a duo exchange “I do” and become legally wed. How about Pam Douglas (Alley Mills) and Charlie Weber (Dick Christie)? Or Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) and Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden)?
More Location Shoots: B&B is both set in Los Angeles and the studio in which the show tapes is in Hollywood. The show has taken advantage of local tourist attractions over the years for location shooting with great success. Let’s see some more in 2023! There’s Santa Monica Pier, Hollywood Blvd., Rodeo Drive, the Hollywood sign, and many more places that B&B can share with their worldwide audience.
Always In Fashion
Fashion Shows: We saw fashion shows return to B&B in 2022 with the successful Hope for the Future presentation. As the Forresters are in the fashion business, it only makes sense for there to be more fashion shows in the upcoming 12 months. What the show could also use is a rival fashion house to give the Forresters a run for their money. Given Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) status with the family right now (he’s in the doghouse!), we could see Thomas branching out and establishing his own fashion line to compete with his estranged family.

Blasts from the Past: Bold and the Beautiful has a rich list of characters who are currently not on the canvas right now, and it’d be great to see many of them return in 2023. What’s Felicia Forrester (Lesli Kay) been up to since she’s been out of town? Jackie Marone (Lesley-Anne Down) could return to add some conflict to Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Donna Logan’s (Jennifer Gareis) otherwise happy relationship.
Bold and the Beautiful — The Next Generation
The Bold Young Ones: Speaking of characters from the past returning, what about the possibility of introducing some new young players to the show? It’s likely a bit too early to age up Kelly, Beth, and Hayes — however, there are other Forrester children out there, including Logan Knight, the son of Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) and Brandon Beemer (ex-Owen Knight), who could make the scene and sizzle up the show just in time to make summer extra Bold and the Beautiful.
