T he “Bold and the Beautiful” (B&B) star John McCook (Eric) had some romantic storylines on daytime TV. Fans love McCook because he has a knack for keeping them on their toes!

Here are some very cool scenes featuring McCook in the most romantic of situations!

5. The Love Boat
John McCook’s appearance on The Love Boat may have only been a one-day affair, but this guest spot put him on the soap opera map. He played Mark Bridges during the episode where Doc tried to swear off women.

4. Romance Theater
McCook took the lead in a five-part series on Romance Theater in 1982. His role as Ross stole the hearts of women everywhere as he acted opposite Lorrie Mahaffey.

3. Fantasy Island
In the mid-80’s, McCook stopped by Fantasy Island twice to help romance along. He helped along island guests as they tried to fulfill their fantasies.

A little-known fact is that before becoming Eric Forrester, McCook made his Y&R debut was Lance Prentiss in 1976.

It was 1987 that McCook started on B&B as Eric Forrester. This character has made him a daytime television icon. His time on the show has spent in exciting romances, action packed drama, and he’s been the rock of the Forrester family.
