The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, September 20, 2019, reveal Devon’s world about to flip upside down in more ways than one. His money is at risk, his lifestyle may be taken away, and the woman fighting for his new nemesis looks just like his late wife. Hmmm…
Who Are You?
No one would blame Devon (Bryton James) for spinning out of control when he answers the door. Seeing Hilary’s face in the flesh is stunning. However, instead of outwardly losing it, Devon stands strong and starts demanding answers. Who is she? Why is she here? And, who sent her?
Hilary’s doppelganger has some pretty shady answers. Her name is Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) and she was sent by Chance to clear up some suspicious discrepancies in Katherine’s will.
As it turns out, her lawyer made a shocking death bed confession claiming Tucker paid him to change Katherine’s will and leave all the mad cash to Devon. And, oh yes, Chance has the signed documents but Amanda conveniently does not.
A Twinning Personality
Are your alarms bells ringing yet? They sure will be for Devon. There is no way a lawyer would show up without their proof, and no way on God’s green earth Chance didn’t know what he was doing when he hired Ms. Sinclair.

In fact, Devon’s not convinced Amanda herself isn’t aware of her look-alike-status. GC Buzz show was nationally syndicated. Everyone has heard of Hilary.
Of course, Amanda will deny, deny, deny (a very Hilary move). She’s just a lawyer and doing what she is paid to do. Nothing more, nothing less. She is completely innocent and not part of a messy scheme. (Sure, Jan).
The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal Devon’s radar is up and tensions rising. Expect Amanda to feel the heat (and, not the good kind), throw Devon a card, and get out of there. No sense fighting with someone spiraling. Call me when you calm down, she says.
A Rocky Road
To say the whole situations leaves Devon rattled is an understatement. He has to fight for his fortune, talk with his biological dad, and continually face off with a woman who has the same face as the love of his life. It’s going to be a rough couple of weeks.
