It looks like Chelsea’s life is a lot more interesting than we ever thought as yet another man from her past appears in Genoa City. Soap vet Gordon Thompson will join The Young and the Restless later this summer.
According to Soap Opera Digest, Thompson will play Daryl Tulane, another person with a connection to Chelsea, but what could this connection be? Might her be a relative? Perhaps a long-lost father. Time will tell.
Thompson is no stranger to daytime and to YR. He once had a short role as an attorney on the soap who didn’t do Phyllis any favors when he lost her custody of Daniel.
But, the actor has more than just a brief YR stint on his soap resume. He played Adam Carrington on Dynasty back in the 1980s and made a name for himself in prime time before making the move to daytime.

Thompson was the final actor to play Mason Capwell on the late NBC soap, Santa Barbara. Lane Davies and YR alum, Terry Lester, played the role before him.
The actor is set to make his YR debut on July 29 as Chelsea and Adam’s story heats up for midsummer. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
