It was the end of an era when General Hospital had Alan Quartermaine die from heart failure after being taken hostage by Jerry Jacks. The stress of the situation caused him to have a heart attack — but it broke the hearts of millions of fans too. His portrayer, Stuart Damon, is beloved by fans.
Damon returned for appearances as Ghost Alan for a few years but they stopped in 2013 and little has been seen about the fan favorite since. Many rumbled online that it should have been Alan to help escort his grandson Oscar (Garren Stitt) up to heaven after the boy died instead of his great grandparents, Lila and Edward.
Now, thanks to Jacklyn Zeman (Bobbie), we can see Damon reunite with several members of his GH family in a tweet the actress shared with her followers, saying, “Lunch with my @GeneralHospital pals. #StuartDamon @lesliecharleson @kinshriner @wallykurth Oh what a treat!”
The snap she shared of herself with him, his former partner-in-crime, Leslie Charleson (Alan’s wife Monica), Kin Shriner (Scott), and Wally Kurth (Ned) brings back incredible memories for those who have loved the actor’s work for decades.
