The Cassadine family tree has always been a complicated one on General Hospital (GH). In the 1980s, we met Tony, then his younger brother, Victor, then their oldest brother, Mikkos, he of the evil weather machine.
After the Ice Princess incident, along came Mikkos’ widow. Helena and, a few years later, their cousin, Stavros, who kidnapped and held Laura (Genie Francis) hostage.
By the time the Cassadines returned in the mid-1990s, the family dynamics had shifted. Stavros was now Mikkos and Helena’s son, along with his brother, Stefan. Then there there were a host of illegitimate off-spring.
So, we’ve got plenty to choose from. Which Cassadine would you like to see back in Port Charles? Almost 5,000 of you weighed in on this one.
Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) may not have been a saint, but he was still pretty good… for a Cassadine.
Which is why an overwhelming 89% of you are itching for his return. If Nikolas came home, maybe Spencer will, too. Which means Laura. Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) is looking mighty lonely…when we see him, that is.

Stefan (Stephen Nichols) may have done some rotten things, but he was a loving guardian to Nikolas, and he had his redeeming qualities. A much smaller 5% is eager to see him resurrected.
The Mother Of All
Helena (Constance Towers) had no redeeming qualities. Which is an even better reason for 3% of the audience to want her back – and wreaking havoc! With Helena around, Port Charles is never dull. Plus, she makes Sonny (Maurice Benard) seem completely insignificant.

Stavros (Robert Kelker-Kelly) and Victor (Thaao Penghlis) barely eked out 1% of the vote each. It’s say to safe to say that they are gone… but not forgotten. And it’s those memories of their days on GH that’s making you confident you don’t want a rerun!
