It’s never a good time to find oneself with a broken limb, but for General Hospital star Laura Wright, this injury couldn’t have come at a worse time. The actress was about to jet-set off with her daughter Lauren on an amazing overseas trip but was forced to cancel — and she needed help to do it.
So she did what so many people have found they have to do when faced with an issue for the airlines — she tweeted the company and reached out for some help — along with photographic proof of her recent injury.
“OK @Delta I have to cancel my flight to Prague with my daughter because of my broken foot here’s hoping you guys help me out—— you guys are my favorite airline!! Don’t let me down 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻”
Luckily for both the airline and the actress, the company came through, — first telling her how sorry they were about her injury and then requesting that she send them a direct message with her confirmation code so they could set about helping her fix things.
Wright answered that tweet, letting them know that she had contacted them and it wasn’t long before she revealed the outcome of her issue, saying, “Yay!!!!!!! Thank You @Delta !!! Full refund!!!!!!! Love you guys!!!,” she wrote. She later shared another tweet, explaining what happened.

Soap Hub is happy for as good an outcome as there could be, considering the canceled trip and dealing with the injury, and wishes Laura Wright a speedy recovery for her broken foot.
No word on whether GH will end up writing it in. Perhaps Kin Shriner (Scott) can give her a deal on the scooter he used recently after a similar injury. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
