Fans Feel THIS Way About A Jonathan Jackson Return

 Comments

The Internet has been buzzing about the return of Steve Burton to General Hospital and while taking tweeted questions, Burton replied you never know when asked about a Jonathan Jackson return as Lucky.

After all, the two men are partners in a restaurant in Nashville, so if anyone would know, Burton certainly would, right? But how do fans feel about the possible return of Jackson to the role he first played back when he was only 11 years old?

Soap Hub asked, and you made your feelings crystal clear.

Singing Her Own Tune
After almost 6,000 votes were tallied, a whopping 91% would take Jackson back in a heartbeat. He won you over from the first time he arrived on the Port Charles scene as the son of the legendary coupling of Luke (Anthony Geary) and Laura (Genie Francis).

Then he grew up before your eyes, playing Lucky during his first stint from 1993-1999. During that time, Lucky met and fell in love with Liz (Rebecca Herbst) and then found out the horrific truth that his father, whom he idolized, had raped his mother.

Jackson has been back on the show a couple of times and you’d more than welcome yet another visit when he isn’t shooting his hit show Nashville for CMT. Lucky still has plenty of family in town, and he’s sorely missed.

On the Fence
But, it wasn’t a complete slam-dunk as 5% think they may be interested in a return but perhaps you fear getting attached to him for him only to leave again. You do miss him, so it would be fun to see him if the story is right.

Not Feeling Lucky
Still 4% flat out don’t want to see Jackson back. You aren’t against a return of Lucky, but you’d rather have an actor who will stick around, rather than just come in, upset the apple cart, and then return to his other show. Lucky is pivotal and deserves better.
