Andre Maddox seemed like the nicest guy around on General Hospital (GH). Except for a few fights with Jordan, Andre was this mild-mannered guy for two years who only wanted to help people–or so we thought.
The first shocker we ever got about Andre was that he knew Robert through working with the WSB and he helped Anna track down Carlos (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) and Sabrina (Teresa Castillo) when Sabrina was about to give birth. Then, we barely heard anything about his WSB work since.
Now, we learn he is somehow involved in this two Jason mess and was just trying to be a scientist who didn’t really want anyone to get shot–but hey, this is the way things go when you try playing what might be true mind games with someone’s brain.
Soap Hub asked if you like this new side of Andre and nearly 2,000 of you weighed in.
This is quite the disappointment, say 68% of you. Soaps need more good guys and Andre was one of them–or so we thought.
Plus, Port Charles citizens trusted him with intimate secrets and we wonder who else he’s been screwing over besides Franco.

It almost seems ghastly to know you confide so much in a medical professional and that professional is ultimately not on your side.
For all we know, Andre purposely prescribed bad meds for Morgan and Ava didn’t really have anything to do with his alleged death after all. Hmmmm…
Then, there are 32% who say tell us more. You like this new side of a character you thought of as dull and can’t wait to see what else Anthony Montgomery brings to the role now. In fact, you want him to stick around when all is said and done to create more trouble in town.
