Some General Hospital characters are sent to prison and are never heard from again. Blackie Parrish (John Stamos), for all we know, is still serving his one-year sentence.

On the other hand, Ryan (Jon Lindstrom), Nelle (Chloe Lanier), and Harmony (Inga Cardenal) can form a virtual book-club behind bars… or, you know, some kind of club. They sure have a lot of freedom of movement and time to chat. And they’ve even had Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin)

But are fans enjoying this particular quartet? Here’s what almost 2,000 have to say:

Lock Them Up
Not particularly, 75% of you shrug, dismissive. You’d rather be spending your time in Port Charles proper, maybe even in the titular hospital, not this wannabe knock-off. Sure, Ryan has a history going back decades, and Nelle is the mother of Michael’s presumed dead son, but Harmony? Really? Why are we supposed to care, again?

These aren’t secondary characters, they’re tertiary. Sure, Nelle could blow the baby switch wide open. But she hasn’t up to this point so, until she’s ready to be useful, she can just have herself a seat off-camera.

And Ryan, at most, will just break out. Again. And terrorize Kevin and Felicia (Kristina Wagner). Again. He’s sort of played out.

What do you think? Post a comment!

As for Harmony… She’s Willow’s (Katelyn MacCmullen) mom. Whoo. Riveting television all around.

Let Them Out
Then again, 25% of the audience is practically shrieking, “Nelle could blow the baby switch wide open! Ryan might break out and terrorize Kevin and Felicia! These are all potentially explosive stories rooted in the show’s history! Of course, we want to see them!”

And Harmony is just another fun piece to the puzzle, you never know what she’s going to do — not to mention that she and Willow are a huge part of the baby switch, too.

It’s nice to know that they’re still with us, plotting. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
