Kelly Ripa is not a normal mom, she’s a cool mom! The Live With Kelly and Ryan host just hilariously called out her daughter, Lola Consuelos, on Instagram and it proves once and for all the 48-year-old has an amazing sense of humor.
It all started on Friday, March 15 when the former All My Children actress shared a throwback photo of herself with Mark Consuelos.
“#fbf 2007 Those hands,” she captioned the photo.
Though it was a loving photo, 17-year-old Lola was not happy with her mother’s choice of caption.
“Is the caption necessary,” she commented along with a face palm emoji.
Ripa wrote back to her daughter, “gurl bye.”
And, in a hilarious twist, a fan came to Ripa’s defense not knowing it was her own daughter who wrote the comment.

“They look like great hands Kelly youngestung is just jealous,” the commenter wrote.
Ripa responded with, “No she’s just grossed out. That’s my daughter.”
Fans thought the comments between mother and daughter were hilarious and shared their thoughts on the photo.
“Lola will be honored one day her mom and dad embarrass her. Lol. Not a lot of kids see there [sic] parents love,” one person wrote.
“LOL……..My son has done the same thing to me. Just like you, I’ve told him ‘Boiii bye’……The nerve of these kids! LOL,” another wrote.
Somebody else said, “My son who is 21 has been embarrassed many times by the pda of his father and I. My response is ’At least you know your parents love each other after all these years!’ Show your love its beautiful!”
Ripa and Consuelos have been married since 1996 and are one of Hollywood’s longest lasting relationships.
