Jillian Harris is best known for starring on Jason Mesnick’s season of The Bachelor and the fifth season of The Bachelorette. Since her time on the ABC reality shows, Harris has stayed busy working on other television shows and throwing herself into business ventures.

Designing Woman
Before going on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, Harris’s chosen career was to work in interior design. She was hired to design the Canadian restaurant chain Cactus Club Café and also designed another set of chain restaurants called Browns Socialhouse.
A First For The Bachelorette
After coming in third place on Jason Mesnick’s sizzling season of The Bachelor, Harris, who was quite popular in her own right, was cast as the lead on the next season of The Bachelorette. Because she’s Canadian, she’s the first non-American to ever be cast as the lead of the show.

The Bachelorette Engagement Ended
At the end of her season of The Bachelorette in 2009, Harris got engaged to Ed Swiderski. However, a long-lasting relationship for the two wasn’t in the cards. The couple decided to go their separate ways in 2010.
HGTV Star
Following her time on The Bachelorette, Harris returned to her roots but melded it with her new skills and began working as a designer on Love It Or List It Vancouver, which ran on HGTV. The show is currently on its sixth season.
New Family
Though her engagement to Swiderski didn’t work out, Harris did get her happily ever after with her current fiancé, Justin Pasutto. The adorable couple has two children together, a 2-year-old son named Leo and a 9-month-old daughter named Annie.
