It’s only natural for fans to have favorite and least favorite storylines while watching a television show, but it sounds like the cast of Game of Thrones has their own opinions too! While at the Season 8 premiere at Radio City Music Hall in New York on Wednesday, April 3, Emilia Clarke let fans in on her opinions.
In fact, co-star Maisie Williams (Arya) asked Clarke (Daenerys) to name her favorite Game of Thrones storyline. “There were bits of Varys’ storyline [I didn’t like], because I want Varys to just turn around and kill someone to their face or like, just tell everyone everything,” she told Entertainment Tonight.
“I feel like you’re on the edge of your seat waiting for him to blow up. That’s it.” She then revealed who she thinks should sit on the Iron Throne when the series is all said and done. “I mean, I do! Daenerys!” she said.
The final season is set to premiere on Sunday, April 14 and will just consist of six episodes. While the end will be especially difficult for fans, it’s also very challenging for the cast to deal with.

“I’m not really preparing for [the ending] at all. I’m waiting for it to like, hit me like a freight train,” she shared. The good news, however, is she has more work coming up later this year to keep her busy.
“I’ve got something coming out at Christmas and just lots of exciting things. I’ve started a charity called SameYou.org and a production company, and it’s gonna be a really exciting next chapter,” she added.
The charity is to support those who have suffered a brain injury or stroke. Clarke recently went public about the aneurysms she suffered during the early seasons of Game of Thrones. Her charity is to help people get access to neurorehabilitation and learn more about it.
