No one is perfect, especially on Days Of Our Lives. So Chad couldn’t handle the fact that his wife was carrying his hateful brother’s baby. So he delivered Abigail’s daughter, then made a deal that would result in Stefan locking up in a mental institution.
He had his reasons. He thought Abigail’s split personalities had come. It’d happened before. He’s sorry, OK? Especially now that Chad knows he’s actually Charlotte’s daddy. Should Abigail forgive the man who loves her? Almost 9,000 fans offered up their opinions.
Understood
Give Chad a break, 86% of you urge. He thought he was doing what was best for Abby at the time. He thought the woman he loved was sick, and he was desperate to get her treatment, not just for Abigail’s sake, but for Thomas and Charlotte, too. Abigail ought to understand that and be grateful. She should forgive and forget.
Take Your Time
For 9% of the audience, forgiveness is also the goal. But you want it to take a nice, long, soapy time. A quick, “We’re cool” would rob you of the kind of agonizing drama that you tune in for in the first place. Make Chad earn his family back! Make him grovel.
Besides, you’ve watched soaps for a long time. You know that the quicker Chad and Abigail get together, the quicker they’ll break up again. Let’s pace ourselves.
Never Forgive
It’s a tiny 2%, but they are adamant – never forgive, never forget. Chad betrayed Abigail in pretty much worst way possible. He tore her baby from her arms and he locked her up.

Chad believed Gabi (Camila Banus) over Abigail, and he kept believing her even after Abigail whined about it. Abigail should hook up with Stefan for real. That will show Chad!
