Tripp is back on Days Of Our Lives, and even though he’s giving Steve a whole litany of reasons for why he shouldn’t transfer to Salem Hospital’s Medical School, he finally fessed up to Kayla that he wants to stay. (Especially since his dead mom, Ava, is also on her way back to town… even as Joey continues to serve time for her murder.)

Oh, no. No, no. Please, no. That’s the gist of what we’re hearing from 69% of the audience about the mere idea of Claire and Tripp hooking up again. It was very, very bad the last time. People almost died. Property got destroyed. Tears were shed and tantrums were thrown. Nobody wants a rerun of that.

We suggest Claire and Tripp say a friendly hello if/when they run into each other. And then they stay as far away from each other as possible. We don’t even want them to be friends. It might give Claire ideas. Claire does not need any ideas.
Clean Slate
It’s a minority 31% of Days of Our Lives fans who are curious to see what Tripp and Claire might be like when he’s not into Ciara (Victoria Konefal) or trying to protect Hayley (Thia Megia) from her own stupidity, and Claire is… kinda sane.
A sane Claire might be a perfectly fine girlfriend, and she and Tripp deserve a chance to see if they might still work out. If Claire really is recovered, then she deserves to be happy.
