When Marlena returned from the dead on Days of our Lives after five years, “Roman” had gone on with his life. During that time, he fell in love with Isabella and had started to make a life for them. But all of that changed when Marlena returned. Of course, that wasn’t the only return that rocked his world.

If this storyline had been a movie, this fan made a trailer to promote it — and it’s amazing! At first, Marlena (Deidre Hall) is dealing with why “Roman” (Drake Hogestyn) doesn’t want to be with her like they used to be — she misses him terribly but he’s torn because of his love for Isabella (Staci Greason).
But then things get even more complicated when Marlena starts having nightmares (or are they memories?) of her time when she was held captive, thinking she saw Roman there. Well, she did — just not the man she has thought of as Roman for years. Watch the above trailer and let us know what you thought of this storyline in the comments below.
