Kyle Lowder, who returned to Days Of Our Lives as Rex last year, has teamed up with executive producers Michael Caruso and Barbara Caruso to bring a holiday-themed film to life!
“Filled with warmth, humor, whimsy, and just a touch of magic, A Mermaid For Christmas combines classic Christmas themes with an escapist fantasy element that only a mermaid can provide,” says Michael Caruso, the film’s creator, writer, and executive producer.
In addition to Lowder, the movie’s cast includes Jessica Morris (ex-Jen, One Life to Live), Arianne Zucker (ex-Nicole, DAYS), Kathleen Gati (Dr. Obrecht, General Hospital), Sheree J. Wilson (ex-April, Dallas), Chadwick Armstrong (Not Another Celebrity Movie), Cole Smith (Meanwhile), and newcomer Emma Demirjian.

Michael and Barbara Caruso Productions will produce the film in association with WFL Productions. The Carusos are known for producing Daytime Emmy-nominated series Winterthorne and Ladies Of The Lake. Principal photography will begin later this spring and the film is set for a 2019 holiday debut.
