Lingering Feelings
Even though it’s been a while since their California adventure, Fynn (Alexander Bruszt) can’t seem to let go of his feelings for Kayla (Mary Beth Evans). He seemed to be on board with the “friends” thing, but working closely with her has been hard. He finally spills what he’s feeling and draws her into a kiss.
A shocked Kayla has to set him straight. She’s not ready to rekindle things with him. It wouldn’t be fair since she still has lingering feelings for Steve (Stephen Nichols). She has to work through those before she can even think of beginning something new with someone else. Besides, she’s been too busy lately to even think about her love life.

Stolen Kiss
What neither of them knows is that Steve saw the kiss. It takes all of his self-control to keep his feelings under wraps. He wants to win Kayla back, but what happened with Ava still haunts them. Later, he confides in Eduardo (A Martinez). Also, Adriana makes a decision about Eduardo.
Bad Memories
What happened with Ava also still haunts Joey (James Lastovic). He’s trying to move things forward with Jade (Paige Searcy) but the murder he committed last winter is a hard thing for all of the Johnsons to get off their minds. He and Jade may be growing closer, but those pesky memories keep getting in the way.
