So he kills people, so what? Who doesn’t? (No, really, who in Salem hasn’t killed somebody, whether by accident or because they meant to?) A little thing like that shouldn’t disqualify a man from love. Eric proved how much Sarah meant to him when he went running back to Nicole. He can hang around and take Mickey for walks and stuff. But the real family here is Sarah, Mickey… and Xander.

A child deserves to have both parents with her at all times, 30% of the audience is going retro. (No, really, who in Salem was raised by both biological parents?) That’s why Eric and Sarah should buck the trend and actually raise their daughter together.
And if it turns out Mackenzie isn’t really theirs – did they do a blood test? – if she’s really Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen’s (Stacy Haiduk) little Pheonix, well, then… Eric and Sarah should stay together anyway.
