Just when Rafe thought he’d gotten rid of his main obstacle to keeping custody of David on Days of our Lives, more popped up. OK, so Christian-Evan (Brock Kelly) was arrested for murder and sent to jail for 20 years. No judge would turn over custody of a toddler to a criminal – would they?

But then Evan-Christian’s shifty dad, Orpheus (George DelHoyo), popped up and threw his hat into the custody ring. But he’s a criminal, too. An even bigger one than his son – as indicated by the fact that he killed Adrienne (Judi Evans) and then kidnapped David.
But his daughter, Zoey, she’s an attorney. Without a criminal record. As far as we know. She actually could get custody of David. Especially since his other relative, Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) – yup. Also a criminal.
So should Rafe (Galen Gering) just lean in and form a family with Zoey… and David? After all, she still might want her nephew after all that happened. What almost 6,000 fans hope to see happen:

In No One We Trust
Uh-uh, a majority 59% of you are shaking your heads in near-unison. Rafe can’t trust Zoey – about Zoey or anything else. She’ll just use him to get her way and then leave Rafe high and dry. Don’t buy her batting her eyes at you, Rafe, she’s got an agenda! Look at who her relatives are!
Makes Sense
It’s the most logical approach, 39% of the Days of our Lives fans counter. Rafe doesn’t have any better romantic prospects. And most men of Salem won’t touch Zoey with a 10-foot pole. They even seem to have some chemistry. And they both love David. They could be the happiest – and most practical – family in town!
Woman’s Touch
Only 2% think Zoe should get custody of David. She’s a blood relative. A little boy needs a woman’s touch. Also, she’ll be better prepared to deal when his psycho blood asserts itself. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
