As if Hope’s life hasn’t been insane enough over the last six months, it’s about to get even crazier when she experiences a back-from-the-dead moment she never expected on “Days of Our Lives”.
We’ve known for months that Daniel Cosgrove was on the set taping scenes, but weren’t sure if he’d play a resurrected Aiden or someone brand new. It turns out Aiden never died that fateful wedding night when he tried to strangle her–and poor Hope doesn’t know what to make of this turn of events.
According to the May 9th issue of Soap Opera Digest, Aiden just shows up next week just as Hope’s ready to try romance with Rafe (Galen Gering). As a matter of fact, she tells him she loves him and then returns home to find Aiden in her living room–the place where Bo supposedly killed him last fall.

“Aiden’s return definitely catches Hope off guard,” actress Kristian Alfonso told Soap Opera Digest. “Her world is flipped upside down. Hope is gut-punched and terrified. The last time Hope saw Aiden, he was strangling her.”
It seems Aiden has quite the story to tell of where he’s been the last few months, leaving Hope wondering what to do next. She’s not sure if she should believe him or not, but maybe she should discuss with him the little fact that his son raped her daughter. That should prove to be one interesting conversation.
We’re pretty sure Hope would have a much different reaction if it were the second husband who “died” over the course of 24 hours and not the first. Oh Bo, where are you when we need you?
