Drake Hogestyn has been playing John Black (except when he thought he was Roman, etc.) on Days of Our Lives (DOOL) off and on since 1986, but it looks like he’ll be slipping into a new role this week.
The actor took to Twitter to announce he’ll begin filming a guest spot on a hit primetime show on a rival network.
The show is the long-running CBS crime drama Criminal Minds, which for many years former The Young and the Restless star Shemar Moore (ex-Malcolm) as one of its lead characters. Moore now headlines that same network’s S.W.A.T.
