Days of Our Lives Co-Executive Producer had a big official Twitter announcement on Wednesday night. Arianne Zucker is returning to the show in 2019.
The soap had already told us this in its roundabout way on the DAYS app in November when it featured a story about Paul Telfer’s (Xander) return and told us he’d be sharing scenes with Zucker. Soap Hub broke the news here.
But, now DAYS is apparently ready to blast the news with its own separate story on the app touting the actress’s return.
According to the new story on the app, Zucker will share emotional scenes with Greg Vaughan (Eric), Eric Martsolf (Brady), Gilles Marini (Ted), and Kristian Alfonso (Hope).
Is this just the start of something more long-term or will this be another short guest appearance by Zucker?
When we last saw Nicole, she seemed to perish in a Memphis fire at the warehouse where Kristen was keeping Salem’s un-dead.

Since then, Eric has been mourning Nicole and is now fighting to gain custody of her daughter, Holly.
While it looks like it will be a fight to the finish for Chloe and Eric, finding Holly’s mother alive could certainly add a new twist for these characters.
We also wonder — if Nicole and Xander survived, did Kristen survive as well? And if she does return, will she be played by Stacy Haiduk or Eileen Davidson?
