Once The Bold and the Beautiful begins production in full force, executive producer/head writer Bradley Bell has promised actress Jacqueline MacInnes Wood will be on the front burner in an issue storyline. And it will involve a new leading man, who’s already been cast.
The Bold and the Beautiful — A Man For Steffy
With MacInnes Wood being last year’s recipient of the Outstanding Lead Actress Daytime Emmy award, and Steffy one of the show’s most dynamic principals, the actor working opposite her will have to be top-notch. Plus, his character is going to have to have some key qualities.
Power Player
Steffy’s a strong independent woman and a mega force in the fashion industry. The new man she’s going to be involved with must be a power player, too. He’s going to have to be the perfect mix of brains and brawn if he’s going keep up with her — let alone keep her interested; especially if there’s the potential for romance. She needs a guy who can go toe-to-toe with her at work and at play.

Steffy: One Woman Man
After years of Liam (Scott Clifton) ping-ponging back and forth between her and Hope (Annika Noelle), Steffy’s got to be tired of that boring game. And, frankly, she deserves a whole lot better. She needs a guy who has eyes only for her. In fact, devotion should be the top quality in her new man. Not that he has to be head-over-heels smitten the minute he meets her, but he should quickly realize she’s a special lady, who deserves to be treated like his one and only queen.
A Wild Streak
Although she hasn’t ridden her motorcycle in a while – maybe it’s time to bring it back? – Steffy has always been a wild child. She’s a daredevil who loves a thrill and taking risks. Hence, her man can’t be a buttoned-up suit and tie guy, 24/7. He’s going to have to know how to cut loose and challenge her. Anything less just won’t keep her interested.
