The Bold and the Beautiful addressed the important issue of breast cancer in its first year with the character of Beth Logan, then played by Nancy Burnett. Today, Ashley Jones, who plays the late Beth’s TV granddaughter, Bridget, is taking on the topic in real-life.
Ashley Jones Has Good Advice
“Lots of doctor’s appointments lately…a couple were about a mammogram,” Jones began in a recent Instagram post. “Waiting for those results to come back while they check the size of a nodule is difficult. All I could think about was [my son] Hayden. I am grateful everything is fine, as doctors are just ‘watching the size.’

As BB viewers recall, Beth’s breast cancer storyline served a dual purpose. There was the informational aspect about the illness and it also led to Stephanie (Susan Flannery) inadvertently discovering that Beth Logan was also Liz Henderson (Beth’s maiden name) and the woman her husband Eric (John McCook) had fallen in love with once more.
