She’s Katie Logan, the sensible, straight-shooting sibling in the Logan clan on The Bold And The Beautiful. But you might want to know more about her portrayer, Heather Tom. Here are five fun fast facts about the actress you may not know!

Family Business
Tom has two siblings, David and Nicholle, who are twins! David played the part of Billy Abbott on The Young And The Restless (where Heather played Victoria from 1990 to 2003) and Nicholle portrayed Maggie Sheffield on the CBS sitcom The Nanny!

But What She Really Wants To Do…
Tom has a passion for directing. She was selected to take part in the CBS Directors Initiative. In addition to directing multiple episodes of BB, Tom has directed the short films Blink and Serenity. Last month, an episode of YR Tom directed aired.

Triple Threat
Tom is the first actress to have won the Daytime Emmy in all three acting categories in which she’s been eligible — Outstanding Younger Leading Actress (1993, 1999), Outstanding Supporting Actress (2011), and Outstanding Lead Actress (2012, 2013).

Iron Woman
Tom came in first in the celebrity female division of the 30th Annual Nautica Malibu Triathlon in 2016. Her time was 2:05:23.63 and her efforts helped raise over $1.2 million for the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles Pediatric Cancer Research Program.

Family Life
Tom and longtime beau, James Achor, wed on September 17, 2011. A little over a year later, on October 28, 2012, Tom gave birth to the couple’s son, Zane Alexander. For a period of time, Zane appeared on BB as Katie and Bill’s (Don Diamont) son, Will. The Bold And The Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
